4 Ways to Spring Clean with Pacha Products

Spring is the perfect time to freshen up your space and yourself, but you don’t have to spend a lot of time, or money, doing it. Here are 4 simple tips on how to spring clean using multi-purpose bath goods.

Freshen your house with bar soap

Place bars of your favorite soap in items being packed away for summer to keep them smelling fresh while in storage. Tuck bars into drawers, linen closets, and other spaces to give your house a subtle, clean scent.

If you are packing your bars away in a warm or humid place, we recommend keeping bars in an open paper bag to prevent oils from transferring to other materials.

Bar soap is long lasting, so it won’t need to be replaced as frequently as air fresheners. Soap scented with all natural essential oils also serves as a healthier alternative to freshening products made with chemical scents.

Florals and citrus scents are the perfect way to put you in the spring spirit. Here are some of our favorites:

Spring clean your makeup brushes with bar soap

Start the spring with a fresh and glowing face. Using an activated charcoal soap, like our Clarifying Charcoal bar soap or our Tea Tree Facial Bar, to regularly clean your makeup brushes is a great way to ensure the bristles are rid of acne-causing bacteria.

Activated charcoal absorbs toxins, dirt, and oils, but is still gentle enough to clean brushes without damaging them. This multi-purpose item can also be used as a facial cleanser, body wash, or hand soap to maximize savings and benefits.

Use Pacha Whipped Soap + Scrub as a face mask

Our Whipped Soap + Scrub is a great two-in-one body scrub and body wash, but did you know it can also be used as a gentle face mask? Apply a thin layer of our Charcoal Lemongrass or Honeysuckle Rose Whipped Soap + Scrub all over the face, let it sit for 10 minutes, then gently wash it away with warm water to reveal soft, fresh skin.

Crafted with activated charcoal powder, our Charcoal Lemongrass blend is excellent for oily or acne troubled skin, while the rose clay in our Honeysuckle Rose whip is great for illuminating dull, tired skin.

DIY Body Scrub Using Pacha Bath Salts

For a deeper, full-body exfoliation, combine 3 parts bath salts with 1 part olive oil for a DIY body scrub. Exfoliating the skin removes dead cells and improves circulation for healthy, glowing skin perfect for the warmer weather.

Our Sea Salt Kelp Soak/Scrub and Lavender Soak/Scrubs are handcrafted with coarse Epsom salt and fragrant essential oils that, when combined with olive oil, create an intensely nourishing and cleansing scrub.
