Honeysuckle Rose

We added two different kinds of rose clay because of their wonderful benefits for your skin. Rose clay and french rose clay are both Kaolin Clays, meaning they are naturally occurring clays. Clays in general have very good absorbency, aiding skin by absorbing impurities, like dirt, makeup, or oil. The difference between clays is the amount of absorbency they have. These clays are both great for skin because they don’t rob your skin of all its natural oils that it needs. They are gentle cleansers and are good for sensitive skin because they are effective exfoliators without the irritation other exfoliators can cause.

While all honeys have these benefits, Manuka honey, which gains its name from the shrub the bees feed on, contains some extra benefits because its raw. Raw honey is packed with vitamins B, C, and live enzyme. Manuka honey has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness and eczema. It’s a humectant, so it pulls moisture from the air while also helping add more moisture to skin. Manuka honey helps promote skin regeneration, repairing cellular damage, and lessening scarring.
